SBU reports DPR militant's detention in Kharkiv
Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) officials have detained in Kharkiv a resident of Donetsk region who has fought on the side of militants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
According to the SBU press center, the detainee came to Kharkiv "to rest and recover from his wound." RGD-5 grenades and software containing photos confirming that he was a militant were found on him.
According to the special service, the man voluntarily joined the terrorist group which call themselves Russian Orthodox Army in May 2014, was on duty at a checkpoint near Krasmoarmiysk with weapons in his hands and fought on the side of militants.
The investigative committee of the SBU department in Kharkiv region has opened a criminal case based on Part 1 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal weapons turnover) of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.
