Over 350 ENEMO observers to monitor local elections in Ukraine

A total of 50 long-term and more than 300 short-term observers of the European Network of Election Monitoring (ENEMO) will monitor the local elections in Ukraine.

"The mission includes 50 long-term and more than 300 short-term observers who will observe the elections across Ukraine," head of the ENEMO mission Zlatko Vujovic said at a press conference in Kyiv on October 15.

Observers have already started their work in Ukraine from October 1.

Vujovic said that there will be no ENEMO observers in Donbas, however, the situation in the region will be observed by the mission's representatives in the neighboring regions, for example, in Zaporizhia region.

The ENEMO mission plans to make a statement on the results of the observation immediately on the next day after the elections, and a final report will be published before the end of December 2015.
