Yatseniuk, representatives of Canadian business discuss possibility of attracting investments, holding investment conference

In Ottawa, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and representative of Canadian business circles discussed the prospect of attracting investments to Ukraine and growth of Ukrainian export in the country.

"The issues on attracting Canadian investors to Ukraine and raising the bilateral trade, first of all - the increase of Ukrainian export to Canada, were discussed at the meeting. Canadian investors are interested in energy sector, information technologies and food production," the press service of the Cabinet reported.

The issue of the necessity of holding a Ukrainian-Canadian investment conference was also raised at the meeting.

In addition, during his working visit to Canada, Yatseniuk met with representatives of Ukrainian community in Canada. He thanked them for their help in rehabilitation of Anti-Terrorists Operation participants, humanitarian help, the volunteer movement and active support of Ukraine's interest in the world.

The participants at the meeting also discussed the issues of counteracting Russian propaganda and uniting all the forces of the free world to protect Ukraine.
