Extraordinary Rada sitting won't occur, but session still open – Groysman

An extraordinary parliament's sitting won't take place on July 9 as planned, however it doesn't mean that the session will close, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman said.

He said the session would work after July 17.

"Yesterday there was very hard, but extremely important discussion for the coalition. Everybody who is worried that an extraordinary session won't take place on Thursday I must reassure that we don't close the session and will work after July 17 inclusively. That's why all the laws Ukraine is in a great need of for will be taken," he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
