Ukrainian reforms, de-escalation of Donbas crisis to be discussed during Kerry's visit to Kyiv – Foreign Ministry

Reforms in Ukraine and the de-escalation of the crisis in eastern Ukraine will be discussed during the visit of U.S. State Secretary John Kerry to Kyiv.
"The visit will once again show U.S. support of Ukraine. The priority issues to be discussed at the meeting will be the progress in facilitating the reforms in our state and the search for the ways to de-escalate the situation in Ukraine," Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing.
According to him, a delegation from the U.S. Secretary of Commerce will also visit Ukraine, and another meeting of Ukrainian-American expert group on trade will be held on February 4. "The parties will consider the issues of conducting reforms, the provision of technical aid and cooperation with the WTO, as well as security and intellectual property issues," Perebyinis said.
