Kvitashvili says he will manage to conduct effective health care reform

Newly appointed Ukrainian Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili has said he is convinced that his experience will help carry out effective health care reform in Ukraine, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has reported.

"I have worked in the health care system for 15 years. I am confident that my experience will greatly help Ukraine," he said at a briefing on Tuesday after the formation of a new government.

He said that the president, prime minister and parliament were ready to provide their support in this issue.

"We'll try to ensure that this makes it possible for people all over the country to receive a high-quality health care system. We need medicine that works for the people, works everywhere and is available to all," Kvitashvili said.
