The Ukrainian parliament, Verkhovna Rada, has registered a bill concerning an early termination of the mandate of the Kharkiv city council and its mayor Hennadiy Kernes.

The bill was proposed on Thursday by UDAR party faction member Hennadiy Tkachuk.

The author proposes to call early mayoral and council elections in Kharkiv.

The texts of the draft and its accompanying documents are not on the parliament's Web site yet.
