Portnov, Larin and Chmyr dismissed as deputy heads of presidential administration

Acting Ukrainian President and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has dismissed First Deputy Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Andriy Portnov and Deputy Heads of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Larin and Yuriy Chmyr.

According to the official Web site of the acting head of state, the respective decrees were signed and published on Wednesday.

Portnov was appointed as the first deputy presidential chief of staff on January 24, 2014. Before the appointment, he had served as a presidential advisor. Before this, he had served as a deputy presidential chief of staff and chief of the presidential department on judicial reform and the judicial system.

Larin was appointed deputy presidential chief of staff in January 2013. Before this, he had headed the Kirovohrad regional administration.

Chmyr was appointed deputy presidential chief of staff in charge of humanitarian issues in December 2013. Before the appointment, he had headed Sumy Regional Administration.
