Young people on tractor trying to break through Bankova Street fence guarding Presidential Administration

A group of young people wearing masks have been trying to break through the fence of Bankova Street where the Presidential Administration is located, Hromadske TV has said.

They have been using a tractor with wheels, which belongs to municipal services, a Hromadske TV correspondent reported. One can see smoke close to the block of the fence, which is guarded by Berkut riot police officers.

The tractor has been stopped, and the police are not launching any active operation to disperse the protesters. The Berkut riot police are standing in four lines behind the fence, with two rows of buses behind them. Police officers are using megaphones to encourage those gathered to stop the provocative actions.

The part of participants in the rally, including Tartak frontman Sashko Polozhynsky, have blocked active protesters' way and warned against committing provocations, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

The way to the Presidential Administration is blocked by several specially equipped police cordons. Next are police vans that are standing across Bankova Street.

Witnesses say that the police have used tear gas during clashes with demonstrators.

Attempts to break the fence have been stopped; the masked people are crying out: "Revolution."

Two police officers have been injured during protesters' attempts to get to the Presidential Administration, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's press service reported.
