Ukraine govt plans to improve trade, economic ties with Russia, CIS states, to do without IMF money
The development of trade and economic relations with Russia and the CIS states will allow for improving the economic situation in Ukraine and Kyiv will not need money from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to such an extent, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko said.
"As soon as we completely restore trade and economic cooperation with Russia and other partners in the CIS, our economic situation will improve and we will need to borrow less money necessary to pay the IMF," Boiko said at a news conference on Thursday.
