The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has reported that Ukrainian diplomats in Egypt continue to work normally. "The issue of the evacuation of diplomats is not on the agenda. The embassy is working as usual," deputy director of the Ministry's Information Policy Department Vasyl Zvarych told Interfax-Ukraine.

However, the Foreign Ministry's recommendation to Ukrainian citizens to refrain from visiting a number of cities in Egypt in connection with mass demonstrations is still valid.

In particular, trips to Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Ismailia, Assiut and others are inadvisable.

At the same time, according to the Foreign Ministry, the situation in the resort cities of Egypt - Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Hurghada remains calm.

As reported, Egypt's army chief Gen Abdul Fattah al-Sisi announced that Mohammed Morsi, Egypt's first freely elected president, had failed to meet the demands of the Egyptian people and was removed. He also announced early presidential elections and said that before the election, the constitution will be will be suspended and the government dissolved.
