Parliament approves funding for Ukraine's participation in peacekeeping operation in Kosovo

Spending on Ukraine's participation in the international peacekeeping operation in Kosovo is to be financed from the state budget, parliament has decided.
A total of 333 MPs out of the 400 registered in the parliament's session hall on Thursday voted for a respective law introducing amendments to the law on the approval of a presidential decree to contribute a Ukrainian peacekeeping contingent to the international peacekeeping operation in Kosovo.
The Verkhovna Rada expanded the previously adopted law with a provision, according to which the costs related to Ukraine's participation in the international peacekeeping operation in Kosovo would be funded from the state budget.
