The defense team of former chief of the external surveillance department of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Oleksiy Pukach, will appeal against the decision of Kyiv's Pechersky District Court to find him guilty of the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze and sentence him to life in prison.
