CIS summit opens in Ashgabat

The Council of the Heads of State of the CIS Countries opened in Ashgabat on Wednesday.

The Russian delegation is led by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The summit will begin with a meeting between the heads of states and governments and will continue with a meeting between the delegations.

The summit participants are expected to sign several joint documents.
