URCS volunteers working at two locations affected by missile strike on Mykolaiv

Employees and volunteers of the Mykolaiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) continue to work at two locations affected by the Russian night missile attack on the regional center.
“Currently, 17 employees and volunteers from the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross are continuing their response efforts [on the consequences of the shelling] at two locations,” URCS said on Facebook Tuesday.
Humanitarian aid, including plastic sheeting, tarpaulin for temporary repairs, hygiene kits, and blankets, is being distributed to residents of damaged private homes and apartment buildings.
The Mykolaiv emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked at the attack sites alongside other specialised emergency services of the city. The volunteers provided first aid to three victims and took two injured people to hospital.
As reported, one person was killed and 23 were injured, including some seriously wounded, as a result of missile strikes on Mykolaiv on the night of October 15.
