Details of Victory Plan to be published in coming days – ambassador
The first details of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Victory Plan will be made public in the coming days, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Oleksiy Makeiev has said Monday.
"I think the first details will be announced in the coming days," he said on air of the German television channel ZDF, when asked by the presenter when the Victory Plan would be made public.
"It lists the military, diplomatic, economic, and sanction steps that will help us to force Russia to these talks," the diplomat said.
He added that Ukraine has done a lot this year to ensure the implementation of the Peace Formula, recalling the first meeting that brought together more than 100 countries and organizations in Switzerland.
"We want to bring together as many countries as possible around the Peace Plan. And Russia indeed should participate in the second peace conference. Because peace would mean that Putin also signs relevant agreement. That would be really good," the ambassador said.
He called on German citizens to "trust not those who call for peace, but those who does something for it."
"Germany can play a decisive role, a leading role in these peace talks," Makeiev said.
As reported, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said earlier that Ukraine was expecting afeedback from its partners on the Victory Plan as soon as possible in the form of concrete steps.
