Naftogaz plans to increase gas production to 15 bcm in 2024 – Chernyshov

Naftogaz Group plans to produce 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2024 at the expense of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia and PJSC Ukrnafta, said the head of the group, Oleksiy Chernyshov.

“For 2024, our plan is to approach 15 billion cubic meters at the expense of the Ukrgazvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta enterprises,” he said at the Made in Ukraine forum in Kyiv on Monday.

According to Chernyshov, in 2023 Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas.

As reported, with reference to the head of Ukrgazvydobuvannia, Oleh Tolmachev, in 2023 the company increased gas production by approximately 700 million cubic meters compared to 2022. In 2022, some 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced.

In 2023, Ukrnafta increased oil and condensate production by 3% (by 39,900 tonnes) compared to 2022 - to 1.410 million tonnes, gas - by 5.8% (by 60.4 million cubic meters), to 1.097 billion cubic meters.

Ukrnafta sets a strategic goal of doubling oil and natural gas production to 3 million tonnes and 2 billion cubic meters by 2027, respectively.
