Over the six months of the eRecovery program, 56,800 applications have already been received, and 23,219 families have received funds for housing restoration, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported.

“More than UAH 1.8 billion has already been paid, which can be spent on construction materials or repair services. Of these funds, Ukrainians have already used UAH 590 million for housing restoration,” said Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

The top five regions for payments for housing repairs are Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv and Donetsk regions.

“Dozens of partner companies have joined the program (https://erecovery.diia.gov.ua/participants.html). In just a few clicks, you can view and filter stores with the necessary services and goods,” Fedorov said.

As reported, on May 10, 2023, the eRecovery program was launched in Ukraine, under which owners of damaged housing began to receive compensation of up to UAH 200,000 for repairs. These funds can be used to purchase construction materials, pay for construction work and services of contractors who have the appropriate codes for the work and their sellers have applied for participation in the program through the Diia portal. From January 1, 2024, Ukrainians who repaired it at their own expense will begin to receive compensation for damaged housing.

In addition, on August 1, Diia began accepting applications for compensation for housing destroyed due to the war. Compensation will be paid to individual owners of housing that was destroyed due to hostilities after February 24, 2022, cannot be restored, and is located in unoccupied territory and not in a zone of active hostilities.
