Support of intl partners helps Ukraine keep energy system – Haluschenko

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Haluschenko believes that the support of international partners helped keep the energy system after the terrorist attacks of Russian invaders.

"I am grateful to our partners for the support provided to Ukraine. This is not only financial assistance, but also all kinds of equipment. This allows us to withstand Russian terrorist attacks against our energy infrastructure," Haluschenko said in a conversation with reporters before the start of an informal meeting of EU energy and transport ministers in Stockholm on Monday.

According to him, the support provided by international partners to the energy sector of Ukraine made it possible to maintain and stabilize the operation of the energy system, which has been operating in a deficit-free mode for the third week.

According to a message of the Ministry of Energy on its Telegram channel, during a meeting in Stockholm, the minister intends to discuss with European colleagues further coordination of actions in the international arena to increase pressure on Russia and reduce its influence in the energy markets, as well as cooperation to restore the Ukrainian energy system.

It is reported that during the visit, Haluschenko held a bilateral meeting on energy security, strengthening energy independence, as well as assistance to Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression with Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch, as well as Energy Ministers of Bulgaria Rosen Hristov and Belgium Tinne Straeten.
