Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) has digitized 370,000 ha of its land bank, the company's press service has reported.

According to the report, digitizing is one of the stages for introducing precision farming and the project to automate agricultural production management is being implemented synchronously.

"The land bank is the foundation for the implementation of any other agricultural projects. After the digitization process was completed, we received a transparent tool for managing land assets, that is, land parcels. This makes it possible now to implement programs to improve the quality of agrotechnological operations. Previously, this was done manually, a mode that was resource-intensive and not fast," Head of the innovation implementation department at the agricultural holding Andriy Kyianenko said.

Myronivsky Hliboproduct is the largest poultry producer in Ukraine. It is also engaged in production of grain, sunflower oil, and meat.

MHP supplies cooled chicken half-carcasses to the European market, which are processed, in particular, at its enterprises in the Netherlands and Slovakia.

The land bank of the company at the end of 2017 was about 370,000 hectares.
