Ukrspyrt opens alcohol shop chain selling Ukrainian brands
State-owned enterprise (SOE) Ukrspyrt officially opened the National Product chain of alcohol shops selling Ukrainian brands.
According to a press release of SOE, the first five stores are located in Kyiv. In the near future, the company plans to expand the chain of stores throughout Ukraine.
More than 150 domestic brands will be presented in the National Product stores, including own produce of the Lutsk alcohol factory of Ukrspyrt.
SOE said that the chain was opened in accordance with the approved strategic plan for the development of the enterprise.
Ukrspyrt in 2017 relaunched the facilities to produce its own vodka and from December 2017 Ukrainian vodka from Ukrspyrt is exported to Germany.
"Our goal is to popularize the Ukrainian product on the domestic market and abroad. A third consignment of vodka has now been shipped to Germany for export, and it is also planned to enter the British market," acting Director of Ukrspyrt Yuriy Luchechko said.
Ukrspyrt is a large producer of alcohol and alcohol-containing products in Ukraine. SOE is managed by the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry. The total production capacity of SOE is more than 36 million decaliters per year. It has 41 production sites.
