"I am happy to announce that Kyiv and Ontario will become even closer next summer as the UIA opens a regular flight Kyiv-Toronto, which will significantly enhance not only the strengthening of inter-human contacts, but will also open new opportunities for business development, especially in the context of the entry into force on August 1, 2017 of a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Canada," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine quoted Groysman on Monday night.
The sides noted the strengthening of the dialogue between Ukraine and Canada and agreed on the need not to lose the pace and depth of mutual cooperation. "We also highly appreciate the fact that a monument to the Holodomor victims - one of the most terrible tragedies in human history will be opened soon in Toronto," Groysman said.
