The U.S. Department of Commerce said on September 15, 2017 that the U.S. Department of Commerce is aligning the final determinations in the countervailing duty investigations of wire rod from Italy and Turkey with the final determinations in the companion antidumping duty investigations.

If the fact of causing damage to the national manufacturer is established, the investigation will go on and the commission will issue the final determinations before January 2, 2018. The U.S. Department of Commerce will issue the final determinations before November 20, 2017.
