Ukroboronprom head advocates reshuffling top executives at Kharkiv Aviation Plant
Director General of Ukroboronprom State Concern Roman Romanov has advocated reshuffling top managers at the Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company (KSAMC).
"Old managers should be replaced, I believe," he told reporters in Kharkiv region on Tuesday.
Asked why the top managers of the plant have not yet been reshuffled, he said that this must be a comprehensive program (to remove the plant from crisis).
"The first priority is consumer, the second managers and the third is stable operation of the plant. We are working with Governor Ihor Rainin on the issue," he said.
He said that talks on placing orders at the plant are underway with several foreign customers. The plant does not have orders from Ukraine now.
As reported, on June 16, 2015 the Ukrainian government transferred KSAMC and 410 Civil Aviation Plant (Kyiv) to the management of Ukroboronprom from Antonov.
Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company is one of the leading enterprises in Ukraine's aviation industry and is the manufacturer of the multipurpose An-74 and short-haul An-140 aircraft.
