Kyivenergo's heating tariffs to more than double from July

The heating tariff for consumers of public joint-stock company Kyivenergo who have heat meters installed in houses or apartments would grow by 2.16 times (by UAH 759.72 per gigacalorie) from July 1, 2016, to UAH 1,416.96 per gigacalorie (VAT included).

The company said in the Khreschatyk newspaper on Wednesday that the heating tariff for consumers who do not have heat meters would be UAH 32.97 per square meter a month from July 1, 2016. The tariff is increased by 2.04 times or UAH 16.83 per square meter a month.

The hot running water tariff for consumers with heated towel rails connected to the water supply system would be UAH 83.10 per cubic meter (VAT included) from July 1, 2016 and this is 2.03 times or UAH 42.18 per cubic meter more than the current tariff.

Consumers without heated towel rails would have the tariff of UAH 76.71 per cubic meter (VAT included), a rise of 2.02 times or UAH 38.80 per cubic meter.

Kyivenergo's heating tariff for the needs of households would be UAH 1,153.80 per gigacalorie (VAT not included), a rise of 2.17 times of UAH 622.70 per gigacalorie.

The cost of heat production for the needs of households would grow by 2.18 times or UAH 568.22 per gigacalorie, to UAH 1,050.43 per gigacalorie (VAT not included). The cost of heat transportation will be increased by 2.13 times or UAH 53.01 per gigacalorie, to UAH 99.78 per gigacalorie and the cost of its supply – by 1.7 times or UAH 1.47 per gigacalorie, to UAH 3.59 per gigacalorie (VAT not included).
