Cabinet extends possibility of selling Euro-2 diesel fuel for Ukrgazvydobuvannia until Sept

The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the possibility of selling Euro-2 diesel fuel for Ukrgazvydobuvannia until August 31, 2016.
The government made the corresponding decision at a meeting in Kyiv on March 23.
According to the adopted amendments to the technical regulations for fuel, Ukrgazvydobuvannia can sell Euro-2 quality petrol until June 30 of the current year.
As reported, Ukrgazvydobuvannia board chairman Oleh Prokhorenko in early February reported that the company filed a relevant request to the Cabinet. According to him, the reconstruction of Shebelynka gas refinery with a transfer from the production of Euro-2 diesel fuel to making Euro-4 diesel fuel will be completed by the end of this summer. At the same time, necessary work has been carried out on the transition to the production of Euro-4 quality petrol.
According to Commercial Director of Ukrgazvydobuvannia Serhiy Fedorenko, if permit for the sale of Euro-2 diesel fuel is not prolonged, the budget of the country for the five months will see a shortage of UAH 175-185 million due to non-payment of excise duty and VAT.
Shebelynka gas refinery (Kharkiv region) reduced the processing of gas condensate of Ukrainian origin by 1.6% in 2015 compared to 2014, to 472,600 tonnes.
