The State Property Fund plans to launch large-scale privatization in 2015 with the sale of Odesa port-side chemical plant, hoping to earn at least $500 million, Head of the State Property Fund Ihor Bilous said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

"We see huge interest in the Odesa plant. We expect that the price won't be lower than $500 million," he said.

The next large sale will be Centrenergo power generation company, he said.

What is more, the sale of six thermal power plants is scheduled for the end of summer and the beginning of autumn so that their owners would have time to get prepared for winter, he added.
