Kolomoisky says checks on Ukrtransnafta agreed with Poroshenko

Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ihor Kolomoisky has said that he reached an agreement with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk regarding checks on PJSC Ukrtransnafta.

"We have agreed with the president and the prime minister that Miroshnyk [Yuriy, appointed as Ukrtransnafta acting head on March 19] will not carry out checks on Ukrtransnafta," Kolomoisky said, according to the Ukrainska Pravda online edition.

According to him, it is planned to attract international audit companies to audit the financial and economic activities of Ukrtransnafta.

"The common position is to involve the Big Four companies in the process, and let them check and then draw conclusions," he said.

"And if no violations are detected, I believe, Lazorko [Oleksandr, the Ukrtransnafta head in 2009-2015] should be rewarded, because he kept this oil, because he is a patriot. But he won't return to the company, he is offended by this situation, however we will find how to employ him," Kolomoisky said.

As reported, the supervisory council of Ukrtransnafta on March 19 decided to suspend Lazorko and temporarily appoint Miroshnyk as head of the company
