Average housing prices in Kyiv not considerably change in March

The average housing prices on the primary property market in Kyiv in March 2013 fell by 0.88% compared to February and on the secondary market – by 0.3%, reads a press release of the Stolychna Nerykhomist analytical portal (Kyiv).

According to the report, the average price of one square meter on the primary market in Kyiv in March came to UAH 13,341 and on the secondary market – UAH 16,209.

On the primary market prices grew in March only in the premium class segment – by 0.23%, to UAH 21,450 per square meter, while the prices in economy class segment fell by 0.2%, to UAH 9,963 per square meter and the prices in the business class segment – by 0.37%, to UAH 15,184 per square meter.

According to the portal, in March apartments were offered on the primary market by 64 operators in 135 projects.

On the secondary market in Kyiv the prices of apartments on the left bank grew by 0.6%, to UAH 15,516 per square meter and on the right bank by 0.2%, to UAH 15,516 per square meter, while downtown the prices fell by 1.6%, to UAH 22,822 per square meter.

The number of apartments put up for sale on the secondary market increased by 14.6% in March compared to February, to 19,011.
