FC Metalist Kharkiv President and Ukrainian businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky has said he will stop investing in Kharkiv due to the situation around the Metalist Stadium.

"I know that I will cut my investment in Kharkiv. I don't want to invest money in such an investment climate, because I cannot understand the attitude of the local authorities. Do they have a lot of investors who invest hundreds of millions of dollars? Or my dollars are different in color?" he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.

As reported, on December 19, Kharkiv City Council asked Kharkiv Regional Council to transfer the Metalist Stadium to the municipal ownership of the city. FC Metalist Kharkiv President Oleksandr Yaroslavsky said that he would stop funding the club if the stadium is passed to the city.

The businessman was the general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv's preparations for Euro 2012, having invested his own funds in the construction of the Metalist Stadium, a five-star hotel, the city airport, and the implementation of other projects.
