The Patrol Police together with Prometheus educational platform launch the first Ukrainian free course Patrol №1: Order and Safety, which aims to unite the efforts of the police and citizens in providing and maintaining order and security, the statement from the Patrol Police says.

The course is based on the results of a nation-wide survey of attitudes towards security and order, with 5746 Ukrainians were polled and 4 focus groups were interviewed.

According to the findings, 96,2% of Ukrainians are ready to be involved in maintaining public order. 84% are ready to stick to the order, 82% are ready to report law violation.

The study has also showed that Ukrainians are ready to learn to become a part of order and safety alongside with the police. According to the poll, Ukrainians are interested in a more profound knowledge of legislation (82% of respondents), medical first aid measures (55%), how to construct a suspect’s sketch (43%), self-defense skills (32%), how to deal with aggression (30%), defensive tools (25%).

Patrol police staff, professional psychologists, security and self-defense experts will lecture at Patrol №1: Order and Safety course.
