Ukraine, USA discuss accelerating arms supplies for Ukraine's Armed Forces
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, together with Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, discussed the situation on the Ukrainian front and the necessary military assistance with the U.S. military leadership.
"We talked about the situation at the front, as well as about the help Ukraine needs on the battlefield," Syrsky said on the Telegram channel.
In particular, the conversation included Yermak, Syrsky, Umerov, as well as U.S. Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Brown.
"It was a detailed conversation about the situation at the front, the offensive attempts of the Russians, and what kind of help Ukraine needs. We really need to speed up the supply of weapons. This was discussed in detail," Yermak noted in turn.
