The medical forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive half a million first-aid kits, now the main batch of this aid is being sent from Germany, Deputy Defense Minister Natalia Kalmykova said.

According to the deputy minister, the first 50,000 sets have already been accepted into the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense.

"Due to the fact that we changed the property write-off system, simplifying it to three simple and understandable steps instead of twenty, we managed to restart the process of effective use of what is stored in military warehouses," Kalmykova said.

The innovation should significantly simplify the process of providing tactical medicine to the front line.

"If earlier, due to the loss of the first-aid kit, an internal investigation began - otherwise it was impossible to get a new first-aid kit, despite the presence in the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense - now it is enough to report to the commander, and he, in turn, will submit an appropriate request to the financing department. There, the lost first-aid kit will be written off, thus freeing up space for receiving a new one from the warehouse," Kalmykova explained.

The Deputy Minister of Defense also added that, in addition to first-aid kits from Germany, 300,000 more kits are stored in the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense. She assured that after changing the work of the write-off system, tactical medicine funds are already being actively transferred to units that need them on the front line.
