The Main Intelligence Agency within the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Tuesday morning reported the destruction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Sergei Kotov.

"On the night of March 4 and 5, 2024, the special unit of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine 'Group 13' attacked the patrol ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Sergey Kotov. The mission took place in cooperation with the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. As a result of the attack, the Russian ship of project 22160 Sergei Kotov was damaged by the Magura V5 sea drones on the stern, starboard and left sides," according to the Intelligence Agency's statement in the Telegram channel.

It is also noted that the fire defeat of the Kotov ship took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine, not far from the Kerch Strait, the cost of the sunken ship is about $65 million.
