Third Special Brigade: Russians throwing all power of their army at Avdiivka, it's much harder here than it was in Bakhmut

The Russian occupiers are throwing all the might of their army at Avdiivka, using "all the military nomenclature they have," press officer of the Third Separate Assault Brigade Oleksandr Borodin said.

"It's a very dynamic situation, in the sense that it is constantly changing, since the pressure is simply extreme from the Russians. If we compare, for example, with Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC with whom we opposed, it is much more difficult here. Since the Russians are throwing all their might army that exists. These are not only large infantry, but also armored vehicles, FPVs, UABs, phosphorus, gases of various types – not so much, but there are cases (non-lethal, but incapacitating a person). Everything they generally used is used," Borodin said during the telethon on Friday evening.

According to the press officer, the occupiers "don't protect anything," so the storming of Avdiivka is probably a "fundamentally political decision" for them.

He said Russians lose a large number of armored vehicles and personnel during assaults, in particular from regular Russian brigades and intelligence special forces.

"In fact, some of them are the elite of the Russian army, but they are all going to the meat grinder. Therefore, I believe that they have a principled position, despite the consequences for themselves, they must take it," Borodin believes.

He also said despite the losses, the enemy is always given reserves, "that is, the enemy does not become smaller."
