Invaders accumulate more than 800 missiles, may resume strikes on Ukraine with onset of cold weather – GUR

The Russian occupiers produce about 100 missiles monthly and have so far accumulated about 800 units that can be used for strikes on the territory of Ukraine in winter, said representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov.

"In total, more than 800 high-precision missiles have been accumulated. They can produce about a hundred different nomenclature per month. Since in the last few months they actually used combined strikes, where the missile component was smaller – more emphasis on unmanned aerial vehicles – then yes ... the enemy has accumulated appropriate reserves and this means that probably with the onset of cold weather, it is this period associated with heavy loads on the power system, terrorist attacks by the Russian aggressor can – there is such a risk – they might be resumed," Yusov said on the air of the telethon on Tuesday.

He noted that the Ukrainian security and defense forces are preparing for such a development.

According to the representative of the GUR, the accumulated stocks of missiles by the enemies are significantly lower than they were at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, and therefore a change in the tactics of enemy strikes is expected.

"Last year, the enemy had significantly more stocks of missile weapons. And despite the fact that production continues there, they cannot return to the indicators of last winter and a full-scale invasion. Therefore, the enemy won’t use missiles as thoughtlessly and massively as they did last time ... now, obviously, there is corrective tactics and we will see certain changes," Yusov said.
