The operational situation in the area of responsibility of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine remains steadily tense, as a result of shelling in Kherson region, another 15 civilians were injured, and in the Black Sea, due to a powerful storm, it was reduced to two units.

"During the day, the enemy carried out 37 artillery attacks using more than 180 shells, including seven shelling of populated areas: Kherson, Antonivka and Poniativka. As a result of shelling in Kherson region, another 15 civilians were wounded, including two children, three high-rise buildings, nine households, a gas pipeline, a garage, a store building, and two units of automotive equipment were damaged," the Southern Defense Forces said in a Telegram channel.

According to the Defense Forces, the occupiers continue to carry out drone strikes and drop fragmentation ammunition from them on populated areas of Kherson region. Thus, as a result of the shelling of the church, two believers were wounded.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched an air strike using two guided bombs on the village of Beryslav, Kherson region. As a result of the strike, one civilian was injured, six households, an educational institution building and a storage building at one of the enterprises were destroyed and damaged.

It is noted that the enemy's naval group in the Black Sea has been reduced to two units due to a powerful storm. There is one underwater launch vehicle on combat duty, equipped with up to four Kalibr missiles.

"The southern defense forces continue to carry out fire missions. But with worsening weather conditions, reconnaissance results are difficult. Let's clarify for now. We will report back later," the forces said.
