Govt stops cooperation with Russia, Belarus under CIS agreement on combating crime

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has stopped cooperation with Russia and Belarus within the framework of the CIS agreement on combating crime.

As Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on his Telegram channel, the decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.

In particular, the agreement on cooperation between member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the fight against crime, which was signed on November 25, 1998 in Moscow (Russia), regarding relations between the government of Ukraine and the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, was suspended.
