IMF reopens its representative office in Ukraine

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reopened its Resident Representative Office in Ukraine, located in Kyiv, Managing Director of the Fund Kristalina Georgieva has said.

"I am delighted to announce the reopening of the IMF Resident Representative Office in Kyiv, as we further deepen out engagement with Ukraine," she wrote on X (former Twitter) social network on Wednesday.

Georgieva illustrated her post with a photo from the office in Kyiv, showing the IMF team currently in Ukraine, led by Deputy Director of the Fund's European Department Uma Ramakrishnan, Mission Chief Gavin Gray and IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Vahram Stepanyan, as well as the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Ukraine.
