French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said the meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Kyiv is a signal that Ukraine is part of the European family and support for the country will continue until the victory over Russian aggression.

"The foreign ministers of 27 European countries are meeting together here today for the first time. Several working meetings are coming up with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This means that we support Ukraine. Today we literally support Ukraine here, all together. With this gesture we want to show our full support for Ukraine in restoring its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as necessary," Colonna said while speaking with reporters in Kyiv on Monday.

The Foreign Minister said this meeting of foreign ministers is of particular importance.

"It also shows, of course, that Ukraine is part of the European family for us and that we will accompany it on this path that leads it to Europe. This is an important day, and also means showing our strong and constant support until it won't be able to win," Colonna said.

She also said today at the meeting the issue of further support for Ukraine will be discussed, as well as the purpose of the meeting is to let "Russia understand that it should not count on our fatigue."
