Russians 'hit' on mobilization subject in Ukraine, as it is key to victory in war – Maliar

The key topics targeted by the informational "operations" of the enemy are the supply of weapons to Ukraine and mobilization, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said.

"The greatest fear of the Russians is that all the promised weapons will be delivered to Ukraine. Therefore, the key goal they hit with informational 'operations' is to discredit Ukraine as a recipient, recipient of weapons. Therefore, we see these 'stuffings,' including in Western countries through experts and politicians affiliated with Russia," Maliar said on the air of the national telethon on Tuesday evening.

She said Ukraine uses weapons solely within its internationally recognized borders and adheres to all the rules and customs of war.

"The second thing the Russians are targeting is the weak spot they want to break through – mobilization. They are interested in preventing mobilization in Ukraine, because any weapon is used by people," Maliar said.

The Defense Ministry said the enemy is conducting discrediting mobilization campaigns in Ukraine.

"We do not hide the fact that there are certain problems in the mobilization process, since this is a huge burden on the territorial recruitment center, but some of the inform companies are aimed solely at preventing mobilization in Ukraine. Mobilization is a guarantee that we will win this war," she said.

Maliar said the violation of rights is unacceptable during mobilization.
