It is planned to build a French block around the Vorzel Museum of History and Culture Uvarova House (an architectural monument of local significance), Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk said.

"For several months now, a group of French architects has been working on a concept for the development of this part of Vorzel, which we intend to develop as a cultural and educational space. On the one hand, it is important to preserve and restore the Uvarova House itself. On the other hand, to build a new building of school No. 10 and a pre-school educational institution destroyed by Russians," he said on the Telegram channel.

The mayor of Bucha specified that the project of a modern cultural space was presented by the president of the AMO Architectural Association, Martin Duplantier.

"The proposed new building combines modern solutions for such spaces with wooden elements traditional for Vorzel. We agreed to look for funding together. We hope that the idea of such a quarter will appeal to both the residents of Vorzel and those French citizens who want to support our community in the restoration," Fedoruk said.

Since 2018, Vorzel has been part of the Bucha city community.
