On Monday, January 23, the EU Council at the level of foreign ministers will discuss military assistance to Ukraine, including the issue of a decision on tanks, said EU diplomat Josep Borrell.

"We will start with Ukraine's war, we will start with how to continue supporting military Ukraine. We will discuss a new tranche of the European Peace Facility to provide more funding for Ukraine," Borrell said upon arrival at the EU Council meeting on Monday.

According to him, the ministers will discuss, in particular, the level of military support for Ukraine after Ramstein 8, where the participants of the meeting made many commitments.

"We will discuss the situation in the war, we will have Dmytro Kuleba who will discuss with us," Borrell said.

Answering a question from journalists about whether the provision of tanks to Ukraine would be discussed, he said that the decision on tanks is not the only thing that will be discussed.

"Many other contributions from member states for the military support of Ukraine has been taken," he said.

Borrell is in favor of providing tanks to Ukraine.
