Four dry cargo ships with sunflower seeds, barley and wheat left Ukrainian ports on Wednesday, the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports.

"On November 23, four ships left Ukrainian ports, they are carrying a total of 126,311 tonnes of grain and other food as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the message says.

Two ships – Vasiliy Bozhenko (1,500 tonnes of sunflower seeds) and Puffin S (18,100 tonnes of wheat) – sailed to Turkey.

The dry cargo ship Evengelistria will deliver 40,711 tonnes of sunflower seeds to France, and the dry cargo ship Kydonia is heading to Spain with 66,000 tonnes of barley.

In addition, a ship is sent to the Ukrainian port for cargo, which on Wednesday passed through the maritime humanitarian corridor as part of the initiative.

The JCC notes that 82 dry cargo ships, capable of exporting about 1.9 million tonnes of food, are awaiting permission to enter Ukrainian ports, as well as 30 loaded dry cargo ships are being prepared for inspection in Turkish territorial waters to go further to their destinations.

"As of November 23, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 11.854 million tonnes. In total, 970 ships have been allowed to move at the moment: 479 for arrival in Ukrainian ports and 491 for leaving them," the JCC said.
