Stefanchuk invites EU, G20 parliaments' spokesperson to visit cities of Kyiv region liberated from Russian occupation
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk invited the speakers of the parliaments of the EU and the G20 countries to visit the territories of the Kiev region liberated from Russian occupiers.
"I have sent an official appeal to the speakers of the EU parliaments and the G20 countries with a proposition to visit the liberated territories, especially Bucha or Irpin," Stefanchuk said on Facebook on Thursday.
He expressed confidence that these city names have ceased to be just geographical points on the map for you. They have become "hot spots in the hearts of millions."
"Believe me, this visit will not leave you indifferent. For only after seeing all this with your own eyes will you understand why we are in so much pain and why we are knocking so loudly on the doors of your parliaments. And we believe that they will be opened to those, who are knocking," the chairman said.
