EU to help investigation team to probe war crimes of occupiers near Kyiv - Zelensky
The European Union is ready to provide financial and technical support to a joint investigation team that will investigate crimes against humanity committed by the Russian occupying forces in the suburbs of Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said following talks with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
"I held talks with President of the European Commission von der Leyen. I informed about the inhuman crimes committed by the aggressor in the suburbs of Kyiv. We agreed: everyone should be punished! I appreciate the readiness of the EU to provide financial and technical support to the relevant joint investigation team," Zelensky said on Twitter on Monday evening.
