Duda: Russia-NATO founding act no longer in force

The Russia-NATO Founding Act on Mutual Relations, Cooperation and Security concluded in Paris in 1997, has ceased to exist, Polish President Andrzej Duda has said.

"It must be loudly said that the Russia-NATO act has ceased to exist... Russia has shown that it does not consider itself bound by it. NATO must also stop mentioning the 1997 act, its provisions and any obligations arising from it," Duda said during a briefing in Bucharest on Tuesday.
