On March 21, 8,057 people evacuated through humanitarian corridors – President's Office dpty head

KYIV. March 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During the day, March 21, some 8,057 people were evacuated through humanitarian corridors, Deputy Head of the President's Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.

"Today, some 8,057 people have been evacuated through humanitarian corridors, of which 3,007 have made it from Mariupol to Zaporizhia," Tymoshenko said in a Telegram channel.

Some 4,750 people were evacuated in Kyiv region. In Luhansk region, some 300 people were evacuated from the cities of Lysychansk, Severodonetsk and Horny to Bakhmut.

More than 200 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been delivered to these settlements.

According to him, some 26 buses arrived in Berdiansk. Headquarters continue to operate in the city, where all the necessary assistance is provided to the evacuees from Mariupol.

Evacuation from Berdiansk, the settlements of Manhush merged territorial community, in particular, the villages of Melekine and Nikolske, will take place tomorrow from 09.00 to 11.00.

Another 27 large buses will also be sent from Zaporizhia.
