Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has suffered serious losses, the Ukrainian army has launched a counteroffensive in certain areas. The invaders continue to carry out missile and bomb attacks on the infrastructure and densely populated areas of Ukrainian cities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

"The state, position and nature of the actions of the defense forces have not undergone significant changes in recent days. The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to inflict crushing blows on groupings of occupying troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and, in some directions, go on the counteroffensive," the General Staff said in the morning report on Facebook page on Wednesday.

It is noted that following the results of the previous day, due to the actions of the air defense of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three aircraft were destroyed (two of them Su-34). In addition, one helicopter, three operational-tactical UAVs and two cruise missiles were shot down. Additional information is being finalized.

Aviation of the Air Force continued to deliver missile and bomb strikes against ground targets. Nine air raids were carried out on columns of equipment and concentrations of occupying troops.

"The occupying troops continue to deliver missile and bomb strikes on the infrastructure and densely populated areas of Ukrainian cities," the General Staff said.

It is also noted that the enemy continues to suffer losses and retreats in separate directions. The main efforts of the occupiers are concentrated on securing and maintaining previously occupied lines and defense areas.
