Tkachenko: Putin is destroying, 'denazifying' Russia, not Ukraine

Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko has said Russian President Vladimir Putin is now destroying and "denazifying" Russia, not Ukraine.

"Putin is not destroying Ukraine now, he is destroying Russia. It is a pity that very few Russians understand this. Having entered Ukraine with the 'second strongest army in the world,' which after 1945 did not fight at all, he faced a heavily armed, motivated, trained army that has been fighting for eight years," Tkachenko wrote on the Telegram channel addressing the Russians.

The minister stressed that everyone in Ukraine hates Putin: the army, children and housewives.

"The theses on denazification faced the fact that it is necessary to 'denazify' and destroy all Ukrainians. And this is worse than Nazism. In addition to Ukrainians, Putin kills Russians, Russian speakers, destroys the churches of the Russian Patriarchate. This is no longer Nazism. This is genocide," he added.

Tkachenko noted that it is already clear that the president of the Russian Federation is driven not by logic, but by revenge.

"He still believes that the 'great' country will win. Although gold and foreign exchange reserves are frozen, and the level of debt obligations is at the level of such countries as Nigeria, Libya and Mongolia," he said.

"Putin has managed to disgrace the entire so-called 'Russian world' and Russian culture. Let's look to the future. How will the next generations be judged? Chekhov is Russian. Russian = killer. Russian ballet? Ballet from the country of killers? Russian nesting dolls? Are there grenades in them?" Tkachenko said.
